You can start adding garnishes to meals of certain vegetables that they will eat. Or you can even chop up vegetables really fine and add them to their meals. Kids usually put lots of sauces onto their foods, so they probably won’t even notice the difference.
Fruits are something that should be easy for you to introduce. Most kids like fruits anyway but giving them a variety will get more nutrients into them. So make fruit cocktails or fruit smoothies with several different fruits.
Of course you should try explaining nutrition to kids first but if they just don’t get it, then you can try introducing these new ways of getting them to eat healthily foods with each meal. That way everyone will be happy and eating meals will be less stressful.
