As a parent you probably know that when you make the effort of preparing a healthy meal for your kids, only for it to be greeted with “I don’t like it” by your kids, it can be very frustrating. Especially when they don’t even try the food. They just have it in their minds that it won’t taste nice and don’t even want to try it. You can get them preparing the vegetables, so that when they come to eating them they won’t have any problems because they can say “I cleaned these carrots”. By getting them involved it will make it far easier to get them to eat healthy foods.
Desserts are another easy way to get them to eat fruits. They are also very easy to get your kids to make. Fruit salad for instance is really easy for kids to make and they can make it fun too. Just chop up the fruits for them and give them to your kids with some wafers and whipped cream. They can make a dish for each member of the family and add some fun to it. Maybe make faces out of the fruit to look like the member of the family.
There are so many foods to make with kids that will make a real difference to getting them to eat healthily. Once they know all the effort it takes to prepare a meal, they probably won’t just refuse it without tasting it. It can also help to bring you closer to your kids as you will be working together.
