Getting kids to eat healthy foods will depend on how old they are. If you can introduce it early in their lives then you’ll find it much easier. But once they are older and have picked up various eating habits already, you’ll find it much more difficult. The easiest way is to start introducing the healthy foods slowly into their diet. Don’t just take away all the foods they like and give them just healthy ones instead. You can blend them into soups or smoothies, so your kids don’t even have to know what is in them. If they ask just tell them it is their normal favourite foods and they shouldn’t have any problems eating them.

Another tip is to eat healthy foods yourself. You can’t expect your kids to eat healthy foods if you aren’t yourself. So eat vegetables and fruits yourself with each meal and most probably your kids will want to copy you and eat the same.

Kids nutrition information can be found easily online. Just be sure that they are eating the right balance of all the major food groups and that should be enough to make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need to grow healthily.
