Is our town normal? (Easy 10 points)?

We are in 7th grade and about 90% of the girls in my grade are about 5’0 or taller and in the weight range of 75-90lbs. I’m 5’1 and 97 lbs and my BMI is 18.3, or severely underweight. I’m seriously doubting this because everyone in my grade is either taller than me or thinner than me. I know some of the parents force their kids to eat less and excerise more but is this normal? Because even though BMI says I’m underweight I feel more like overweight. I don’t want diet tips or anything I’m just wondering is this healthy or normal for seventh graders to be in this weight range?

Also have any of you experienced anything like this? Because me and my friend play tennis and we met this girl who lives in a different town. She told my friend how thin she was. And my friend just replied with, “What? I’m like the fattest girl in my grade.”
She’s not fat AT ALL, especially caus she’s way taller than me. But she’s right, in our town we defenitely weigh more than most.

Some of them I know just have naturally fast metabolisms or eat very healthily. But this certain table of girls always throws out half their sandwich and only eats a cookie for lunch. The teachers don’t really comment on their eating behaviors. Is our town/school/grade normal??

Thanks in advance :)

Can you advise me on a healthy, but easy diet for a child with a heart problem?

My sister (7 years old) was born with a uni-ventrical heart (she was missing the whole left chamber of her heart), so they reconstructed it. Anyway I’d like some tips on some healthy meals and snacks that we could prepare for her, things that would be easy on her heart (light) and keep her alive and well for a long time. Also things that are reasonably cheap, tasty for a little kid and easy to make. Please, need your help, she seriously needs to eat a little better. Thanx in advance!!!

Where can I find ideas / recipes for easy healthy meals that kids like to eat?

My 4 year old hasn’t developed very good eating habits. It’s our fault and we know it. We want to do better.

Is there a book or some other source of easy to fix foods that are reasonably healthy and that kids like to eat? Preferably something that you’ve used yourself and have found effective.
