I’m trying to make it a part of my life just as much as work or worrying about what;’s for dinner etc.
How do I kick the habbit of working out for two weeks and then slacking? Any tips or tricks to make this a smooth transition into being part of my lifestyle? I have a hard time mostly because my gym is so far away! i signed up because my gf did and we were going to go “all the time” and she can never go because of her kids. It’s not as fun as going by myself but I work right by the gym so I try and always be prepared with all of my workout things so I can go right there after work, but find somedays I am just mentally exhausted. I’ve even tried sleeping in my workout clothes the night before so I just have to get up and go! haha
I enjoy working out a lot actually, its just the actual getting motivated to get there! Once I’m there, I am a machine and can work out for a while!
I’m just looking for some support and great suggestions and motivating words of encouragement, thank you so much!
Also, what are somethings I can expect once I am dedicated to my plan and really stick to it? How long will it take to lose weight. i know they say 1-2 lb’s per week, but how do they calculate this? is it by doing 30 min cardio 5x’s a week or what!?
(I know eating healthy is just as important which is no problem for me. luckily I love all the healthy foods out there and eat very well! Lean meats, whole wheats, drink a lot of water, love veggies! and am not a huge fruit fat but whip up a smoothy here and there…anyway…)
