BEST tips for becoming and feeling healthier?

How do I become and feel healthier? I am a young, female, in college, who has a pretty busy schedule. I try to eat as best I can but I would like to know…what foods are most beneficial (like natural foods that have a large amount of more than one vitamin) for my health (esp. my immune system) and skin? The vitamins I am taking are too strong, so I would like to try and limit relying on vitamins.

Also, I have been too tired to exercise-when I used to do it at least 4 times a week for more than an hour. How can I get more energy, a healthy way? Is there anything else I should know or take to stay healthy?

Lastly, it seems like I am sick all the time with colds (plus I work with kids) etc.. how do I prevent them? ANY tips I will take!

Thanks!

Need tips to help eat healthier and lose unwanted fat.?

I am a 6’0 male and 168 lbs. I have nasty, disgusting stretch marks on my lower belly, inside thighs (near my pelvic region),, and just below my armpits. I also have body fat in the worst places (ie stomach thighs upper chest). My mom says its my baby fat but I’m pretty sure I’ve advanced far enough into puberty to lose all that. I worried when i remembered that some kids were becoming overweight at around the age of 3, DISGUSTING!!!! I just need tips and facts for eating healthy (because i know i must do that first) and losing the stretch marks and unwanted fat. If you could also provide me with websites that will aid me in my goals that would be lovely. The person who best elaborates and feels to me they know what there talking about will get the best answer. So please, anybody, help.

Going to start eating healthier. I need some tips/advice!?

I want to make some major changes to my diet. I am a 24 year old mother of 2, so I don’t have a lot of time to exercise because of my kids. My husband is in the military so he isn’t here to watch them while I work out, etc. BUT I do what I can, walking, sit ups…But, I at least want eat better food.

Not a crazy diet or anything, but make some changes.
Questions:
Is brown rice really better than white rice?
3 meals a day, or 5 small meals?

If I had, say, a bowl of Special K cereal for breakfast with some 2%, 1% milk. Then plain tuna for lunch with some fresh fruit or similar and brown rice, veggies and some type of meat for dinner…is that a good plan? And snacks would be things like fruit, low fat cottage cheese…
I also plan on drinking a ton of water and 100% cranberry juice as I drink it for my frequent UTI’s.
And cutting junk food almost completely out.

Does anyone have any advice? If I follow that type of eating, with walking/jogging several times a week will I lose weight?

I want to lose about 10-15lbs.

Any and all tips/advice is very welcome and appriceated! Thank you!

How to get kids eating healthier?

I have a 3 year old, almost 4 year old daughter who wants nothing to do with fruits, veggies, or anything else that might be considered healthy. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’ve even asked her what she would like me to make and then let her help cook it, but she still won’t touch it. Have any of you gone through this? How did you get past it?
