What are some dinners I could make that would freeze well?

I really want to start saving money so I thought I could start making and freezing some dinners. Then I could pop them in the oven when I’m short on time instead of eating out and I could quit going to the store everyday to pick up stuff to make dinner. With 3 kids we can’t eat out for under $40 and I know it’s not healthy. I know some things don’t freeze well but I don’t know what. And do you thaw things out and then cook them or just put them in the oven frozen? How long do they cook and at what temp? I would really appreciate any recipes, tips and instructions that I would get. Thanks to all!

I have some questions about losing weight…?

Hi, I’m 14 years old, looking to lose 15-20 pounds. I’m 5’6, about 140lbs. I have been a grazer when it comes to eating since I was a kid, which has recently become a problem. I eat when I’m bored, I eat when I’m sad, sometimes I eat without even knowing it. The time I eat the most it when I get home from school, because I’m soo hungry. I’m trying to get in to the habit of eating breakfast, snack between, lunch, snack, and then dinner. I exercise a lot, but recently I took like a 4 week break which I REALLY regret. I’m taking private lessons for gymnastics, and I might take lessons for level 4-5 in the summer. I’m going to try to exercise just by running a mile or two each day, with some crunches and some other things. I don’t have a gym membership, btw. I go on my trampoline a lot, too, haha. here are my questions:

Are lays baked chips healthy at all?
I love eating plain pepperoni, is this OK every now and then?
What would be a healthy italian dressing that I could eat on my salad?
Besides water and milk, what are some other healthy hydrating drinks?
What are some healthy alternatives to sweets & cookies?
Are there any other tips you might have?

Thanks.
Also, how much calories should I consume per day?

What are some great tips for weight loss and toning up? ?

I am 22 years old. I have 2 great children. With whom I gained weight during pregnancy and never worked to take it off. I am now way past the point where I can call it baby fat!
I was doing great back in august. I was biking approx 5 days a week with my kids in the trailer. On my ‘off’ days I was keeping up with walking. I was eating well and choosing some vegetarian dishes.
This was all in the month my husband was away working. Once I moved to the new town with him it all went away. We fight quite a bit and it really brings me down. After he goes to work after we have a fight I just want to run to the kitchen and break out the chocolate, chips, ice cream, cheese…you name it.
Anyway we are slowly working on our problems. I also think I have hit ‘rock bottom’ with my weight. It make me sick what I have done to my body. I am ready to change and bring back the real me!!

So to kick things off I am starting with a simple cleanse. Eating lots of fresh fruits, veg, lean protein, healthy fats and whole grains/ I have cut out dairy, red meat and the typical “crap” during these 5 days.
I am going to keep up the same thing after…just add back the dairy. I think i may say goodbye to red meat for good.
As for activity I have just been walking. I am thinking of joining a gym this week. We only have one in town so ill be going to check it out tomorrow!

I am 5’8 and 165lbs

I have some body image issues, even though i know i am not overweight, i’d luv some tips on how to be healthy!

Well, I’m only 14, but i’m just beginning to feel kind of insecure about having a ‘pot’ belly or having a little extra fat on my stomach. it’s really weird because i’ve never had body image issues before, and i love everything else about myself except for that. however, i’ve decided that the best way to deal with it is to learn how to be healthy, because i realize that i’m not right now. I don’t excercise all that much and i eat a lot of junk :-( so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what i could do to stay in shape and be healthy both diet and excercise wise. recently I’ve been jump-roping, which i always loved as a little kid, and doing some crunches. I want to do that everyday although i’m pretty sure i wont when school starts. but i just wanted some tips anyways. thanx <33

Going to start eating healthier. I need some tips/advice!?

I want to make some major changes to my diet. I am a 24 year old mother of 2, so I don’t have a lot of time to exercise because of my kids. My husband is in the military so he isn’t here to watch them while I work out, etc. BUT I do what I can, walking, sit ups…But, I at least want eat better food.

Not a crazy diet or anything, but make some changes.
Questions:
Is brown rice really better than white rice?
3 meals a day, or 5 small meals?

If I had, say, a bowl of Special K cereal for breakfast with some 2%, 1% milk. Then plain tuna for lunch with some fresh fruit or similar and brown rice, veggies and some type of meat for dinner…is that a good plan? And snacks would be things like fruit, low fat cottage cheese…
I also plan on drinking a ton of water and 100% cranberry juice as I drink it for my frequent UTI’s.
And cutting junk food almost completely out.

Does anyone have any advice? If I follow that type of eating, with walking/jogging several times a week will I lose weight?

I want to lose about 10-15lbs.

Any and all tips/advice is very welcome and appriceated! Thank you!

What are some tips on eating healthier?
